Born from the acclaimed BFR shieldless Majesty series, the MAJ100X brings that same sculpted silhouette to a fresh, eye-catching Purple Metallic finish. This is Petrucci’s signature design distilled into a more accessible package, without cutting corners on the details that make the Majesty such a distinctive playing experience.
The mahogany body is joined to a set neck built from three-piece mahogany, giving the guitar a warm, resonant foundation while the set-in construction opens up the upper frets for effortless reach. A 25.5″ scale rosewood fingerboard carries 24 medium jumbo frets and Petrucci’s custom inlays, all shaped to a comfortable 16″ radius and a 1.65″ nut width that suits fast lead runs just as well as chunky rhythm work.
Electronics are straightforward but versatile: a pair of HH pickups routed through a 3-way toggle, a standalone tone knob, and a push-push volume pot that unlocks a 12dB boost on demand. It’s a clever way to jump from clean textures to a hotter, more aggressive tone without ever touching a pedal. A modern tremolo bridge and locking tuners keep tuning stable through heavy bends and dive bombs, and a dual-action truss rod makes neck adjustments simple over the guitar’s lifespan.
