Description
Squier’s Vintage Modified Stratocaster brings back the big-headstock look and feel of the ’70s era while keeping the price accessible. Finished in a striking Vintage Blonde over a basswood body, this Strat pairs old-school style with playability that won’t fight you.
The maple neck wears a gloss polyurethane finish with a vintage tint, giving it that broken-in look right out of the box. It’s topped with a laurel fingerboard cut to a 9.5″ radius, hosting 21 medium jumbo frets and parchment dot inlays for a clean, classic look under your fingers.
Tone comes from three Duncan Designed SC-101 single-coil pickups fitted with aged white covers, wired through a five-way blade switch so you can move fluidly between snappy bridge tones, glassy in-between quack, and warm neck-pickup sounds. A three-ply black/white/black pickguard and white numbered knobs finish off the vintage-correct aesthetic.
Hardware is all chrome, including vintage-style tuners and a synchronized tremolo bridge with a vintage-style arm for smooth pitch bends and subtle vibrato. An engraved neck plate and gold-and-black Squier logo round out the details that make this guitar feel like more than just an entry-level Strat.
