Description
Squier’s Deluxe Stratocaster takes the timeless Strat formula and adds a few upscale touches that make it feel more special than its price tag suggests. Finished in a gorgeous Daphne Blue over a basswood body, it pairs with a parchment pickguard and aged white plastic parts for a look that feels lived-in and road-worthy right out of the box.
The maple neck wears a satin finish rather than glossy polyurethane, giving it a fast, comfortable feel under the hand. A “C”-shaped profile, 9.5″ fretboard radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets keep playability smooth whether you’re strumming chords or reaching for bends. Black dot inlays and a gold logo on the headstock round out the classic Strat aesthetic.
Tone comes from three Duncan Designed SC-101 single-coil pickups (bridge, middle, and neck), wired to a 5-position blade switch for the full range of Strat sounds – from bright, cutting bridge tones to warm, rounded neck-pickup character, plus the in-between quack that made this pickup layout famous. Master volume and two tone controls give you plenty of shaping power on the fly.
Hardware is all business: a 2-point synchronized tremolo with standard arm, chrome-plated die-cast tuners, and a synthetic bone nut for solid tuning stability. It ships strung with Fender USA Super 250L strings (.009-.042) and finished with an engraved neckplate for that authentic touch.
