Description
The Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster keeps the formula that’s defined the Strat for decades: an alder body, bolt-on maple neck, and three single-coil pickups wired for that unmistakable snap and chime. This one wears a 2-Color Sunburst finish over its polyurethane-coated body, giving it a warm, vintage-leaning look that pairs well with the maple fingerboard underneath.
The “C”-shaped neck is comfortable in hand, with 21 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, and a 9.5″ fretboard radius that keeps chording and bending equally easy. A 25.5″ scale length and 1.6″ nut width keep the feel true to Strat spec, while the large ’60s-style headstock rounds out the throwback silhouette.
Under the hood you get the standard S/S/S pickup layout with a 5-position blade switch, giving you every classic Strat tone from bridge twang to that glassy in-between quack to a rounder neck-pickup voice. Master volume plus two tone controls (one for the neck pickup, one for the middle) let you shape things further on the fly.
Hardware is all chrome, including a synchronous tremolo bridge with a standard arm for pitch dives and subtle vibrato, standard die-cast tuners for tuning stability, and a synthetic bone nut. White plastic knobs and a white switch tip finish off the look.
