Description
The Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder FR is built for players who need speed, stability, and output that keeps up with aggressive playing. A bolt-on maple neck carved into a Thin ‘C’ profile sits atop a mahogany body finished in Satin Black, giving you a fast, comfortable grip whether you’re running scales or locking into rhythm.
The maple fretboard carries 24 X-Jumbo frets across a 14″ radius, so bends stay smooth and there’s zero fretting-out even up at the dusty end. A 25.5″ scale and 1.625″ nut width keep the feel familiar and versatile, while offset/reverse dot inlays make navigating the neck easy at a glance.
Under the hood, a pair of EMG Retro Active Hot 70 pickups deliver active output with a vintage-inspired voice, wired through a straightforward Volume/Volume/3-Way Switch layout for quick tonal shifts between pickups. The Floyd Rose Special ‘Hot Rod’ Locking Tremolo, a Schecter exclusive paired with a Floyd Rose Special nut, gives you tuning-stable whammy abuse and dive bombs without drifting out of tune.
Rounding things out are black hardware, metal knurled knobs with set screws, and Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky strings (.009-.046) already installed. This guitar arrives ready to plug in and play, with a matching SGR-1C case available separately.
