Description
The Solo-II Custom takes Schecter’s classic single-cutaway silhouette and dresses it up with a flamed maple top over a mahogany body, finished in a warm Gloss Natural that lets the grain do the talking. White multi-ply binding traces the arched top for a clean, vintage-informed look, while chrome hardware keeps things understated.
- Set-neck construction with a 3-piece mahogany neck carved into a Thin ‘C’ profile
- Ebony fretboard with mother of pearl block inlays, 12″-16″ compound radius, and 22 X-Jumbo frets
- 24.75″ scale length with an Ernie Ball compensated nut (1.653″ width) for improved intonation across the fretboard
- Schecter Locking tuners paired with a 2-way adjustable truss rod for reliable tuning and easy setup
Under the hood, the Solo-II Custom pairs a Schecter USA Pasadena Plus in the bridge with a Schecter USA Pasadena in the neck, wired through a Volume/Volume/Tone (push-pull) layout and a 3-way switch. That push-pull tone control opens up coil-splitting options, giving you access to both humbucker punch and single-coil clarity without swapping guitars. Hardware-wise, a TonePros T3BT Tune-o-matic bridge and T1Z tailpiece keep the strings locked in place for solid sustain and tuning stability.
Rounding things out are Grip Tip speed knobs for smooth control feel and a set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010-.046) straight from the factory. Built in South Korea to Schecter’s exacting standards, this is a guitar meant for gigging players who want carved-top elegance without carved-top fragility. Note that a case is sold separately.
