Description
Schecter’s Reaper-6 FR S brings the Reaper Series’ aggressive looks and modern playability to left-handed players, finished in a striking Satin Charcoal Burst over a figured Poplar Burl top. That top sits on a Swamp Ash body that’s been contoured for comfort, so long sets don’t turn into a wrestling match with your guitar.
The set-neck construction uses a 5-ply Maple/Walnut Ultra-Thin C profile with carbon fiber reinforcement rods, capped with an Ebony fretboard and 24 X-Jumbo frets across a 25.5″ scale. Combined with the Ultra-Access neck carve, upper-fret runs stay reachable even when the riffs get demanding. A 14″ fretboard radius keeps things fast without sacrificing feel.
Where this Reaper really sets itself apart is the electronics. The bridge position houses a high-output Schecter Diamond Decimator pickup for cutting, saturated tones that hold their own in a dense mix, while the neck slot is occupied by a Sustainiac pickup — flip the 2-way switch and dial in the 3-way mode selector (Fundamental, Mix, Harmonic) for infinite sustain and feedback effects on tap, powered by a clip-in 9-volt battery.
A Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and matching nut handle whammy abuse and pitch dives, backed by Schecter tuners, all finished in a black-and-chrome hardware combo that plays off the charcoal burst nicely.
