The 27-inch scale length — a full 1.5 inches longer than a standard PT — gives dropped and baritone tunings the string tension they need to stay tight and articulate instead of floppy, making this guitar a natural fit for anyone chasing chug-heavy riffs without sacrificing pitch definition.
Powering that low-tuned attack is a set of high-output, USA-made humbuckers: a Pasadena Plus in the bridge for cutting, aggressive drive tones, and a Super Rock Vintage in the neck that smooths things out for classic rock leads and cleaner passages. Together they cover a surprisingly wide tonal range, from modern metal riffing to vintage-inspired warmth.
Playability gets just as much attention as tone. The neck is hard rock maple reinforced with carbon fiber for added stability under tension, topped with an ebony fingerboard carrying a 14-inch radius for fast, comfortable action across the fretboard. Twenty-two extra-jumbo stainless steel frets add durability and a smooth feel for bending and fretting alike.
