The Schecter PT-7 FR-S SLS Elite Evil Twin is built for players who want infinite sustain and dive-bomb chaos in the same instrument. At the heart of this 7-string is a Sustainiac pickup system in the bridge position, controlled by push/pull Volume and Tone pots that switch between single-coil voice, and two humbucker-style voicings, plus a 3-way toggle to dial in your sustain mode. It’s a rare feature set that turns feedback and endless notes into a musical tool rather than an accident.
Underneath all that electronic flexibility sits a swamp ash body finished in Satin Black with ivory 1-ply binding, joined via a thru-neck design with Ultra Access for full reach up to the 24th fret. That neck itself is a multi-ply blend of maple, walnut, and padauk, reinforced with carbon fiber rods and shaped into an Ultra Thin “C” profile that measures just 19mm at the first fret. A 26.5″ scale length keeps the low B string taut, while 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets and a 12″-16″ compound radius ebony fretboard make bending and sweeping feel effortless.
A Floyd Rose 1500 Locking Tremolo paired with a Floyd Rose locking nut delivers stable, wild pitch dives without tuning drama, and TonePros “M Series” tuners keep things locked in up top. Pearloid Roman numeral inlays and Luminlay side dots with black circles round out the details.
