Description
The Omen Extreme-6 pairs a mahogany body with a quilted maple top, finished in a deep Blood Burst that lets the figuring show through. Cream multi-ply binding traces the edge for a clean, finished look, and the arched top gives it a bit more visual depth than a flat-slab design.
- Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with a Thin “C” profile, measuring .787″ at the 1st fret and .866″ at the 12th – fast without feeling flimsy.
- Fretboard: Rosewood board, 14″ radius, 25.5″ scale, 24 X-Jumbo frets, with abalone and pearloid vector inlays and side dot markers for quick reference on stage.
- Nut: Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut at 1.643″ width, seated in a 2-way adjustable truss rod system.
- Bridge: Tune-O-Matic with string-thru-body stringing for sustain and tuning stability.
- Hardware: Black chrome hardware and Schecter tuners round out the build.
- Electronics: Volume/Volume/Tone (push-pull) controls with a 3-way switch, driven by a Schecter Diamond Plus bridge humbucker.
This is a guitar built for riffing – the mahogany/maple combo gives you low-end weight with enough top-end clarity to cut through a mix, and the slim neck profile makes rapid runs and chord changes feel effortless. The push-pull tone control adds coil-splitting flexibility, so you’re not locked into one pickup voice. Whether you’re tracking rhythm parts or stepping out for a solo, the Omen Extreme-6 in Blood Burst delivers both the tone and the look to back it up.
