Description
The Schecter Omen 7 hands you a seventh string without sacrificing playability. Its basswood body and bolt-on maple neck keep things light and resonant, while the arched top and black 1-ply binding give it a clean, purposeful look in Vintage White.
- 26.5″ scale length locks in solid intonation across all seven strings, especially useful when tuning down
- Thin ‘C’ neck profile (.787″ at the 1st fret, .866″ at the 12th) makes wide fretboards feel manageable
- Rosewood fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo frets and a 16″ radius for smooth bends and low-fret comfort
- Pearloid Semi-Goth inlays mark your position without shouting for attention
- Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and a 2-way adjustable truss rod for reliable tuning stability and setup control
Power comes from a matched pair of Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers, wired through a straightforward volume/tone/3-way switch layout – enough tonal range for rhythm chugging and lead work alike. The Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge is string-thru-body, adding sustain and a firm anchor point for the extra string tension. Black chrome hardware, including Schecter tuners and knurled metal knobs, ties the whole build together visually.
Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 7 strings (.010-.056) come installed from the factory, dialed in for the 7-string range. Built in Indonesia for right-handed players; note that the SGR-1C case is sold separately.
