Description

Designed alongside guitarist Keith Merrow, the KM-7 is engineered for players who need speed, clarity, and low-end punch across seven strings. The swamp ash body carries a flamed maple arched top with black multi-ply binding, finished in Trans White Satin (TWS) that lets the wood grain show through.

  • Set-neck construction with Ultra Access heel for smooth upper-fret reach
  • 3-piece maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods and an Ultra Thin ‘C’ profile
  • Ebony fretboard, 26.5″ scale, 12″-16″ compound radius, 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets
  • Offset/reverse dot inlays with glow-in-the-dark side markers
  • Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut, 2-way adjustable truss rod

Tone comes from a Seymour Duncan Nazgul in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Sentient in the neck — a combination voiced specifically for extended-range clarity, with the Nazgul delivering aggressive, focused low-end and the Sentient offering smooth, articulate lead tone. Controls are kept simple: a push-pull volume knob and 3-way switch, all set against black hardware including a Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-thru-body construction and Schecter locking tuners.

Strung from the factory with Ernie Ball 7-string sets (.009-.062), this guitar is ready to tune down and dig in right out of the box. Built right-handed in South Korea. Note: the SGR-1C case shown is sold separately.
