Description
The Hellraiser Solo-II Passive brings Schecter’s high-output metal machine into a striking Dragon Burst finish, with a quilted maple top carved and arched over a mahogany body for that classic contoured look with real depth. It’s built on a set-neck design with Ultra Access construction, meaning the neck joint gets carved away for genuine reach into the upper frets – no compromise when you’re soloing up high.
The 3-piece mahogany neck carries a Thin ‘C’ profile, sized at .787″ (20mm) at the first fret and .866″ (22mm) by the twelfth, so it stays fast without feeling flimsy. A rosewood fretboard hosts 24 X-Jumbo frets under a 14″ radius, inlaid with abalone pearloid Gothic crosses that fit the guitar’s dark aesthetic. Abalone binding with black/white/black multi-ply trim wraps the body edge for a finishing touch that echoes the inlay work.
Up front, a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.653″/42mm wide) sits ahead of a 25.5″ scale length, and the neck is stabilized by a 2-way adjustable truss rod accessed with a 5/32″ (4mm) Allen key. Pickup duty at the bridge falls to a Schecter USA Brimstone humbucker, tuned for the aggressive, high-gain tones this series is known for.
