Description
The Schecter Hellraiser C-7 is built for players who need a seventh string without sacrificing playability. Its mahogany body pairs with a 3-piece mahogany set-neck for sustain and warmth, while the Ultra Access neck joint keeps the upper frets reachable even when you’re deep into extended-range riffing.
The 26.5″ scale length gives the low B string proper string tension and clarity, and the Thin ‘C’ neck profile keeps the fretting hand comfortable across all 24 X-Jumbo frets. A 16″ fretboard radius rosewood board is dressed with abalone Gothic Cross inlays and abalone/black/white multi-ply binding for a striking look against the Gloss White finish.
Loaded with EMG 707TW active pickups in both positions, this guitar offers push-pull volume controls that split each pickup between full humbucker output and a thinner single-coil voice – giving you access to tight, high-gain rhythm tones as well as clearer, more articulate cleans, all from the same instrument.
Hardware is built to hold tuning under drop tunings and aggressive playing: a TonePros 7-string Tune-o-matic bridge with string-through-body construction, Schecter locking tuners, a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut, and black chrome hardware throughout. It ships strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 7-string strings (.010-.056).
