Description
The Schecter Hellraiser Passive C-1 FR S takes the brand’s staple metal machine and loads it with two performance-oriented upgrades: a Floyd Rose 1500 Series locking tremolo and a built-in Sustainiac system in the neck position. That combination hands you dive-bomb capable pitch bending alongside infinite, feedback-style sustain at the flip of a switch – controlled via a dedicated Intensity knob and a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment powering the Sustainiac Retrofit SLS w/Aux-2 unit.
Underneath the electronics, this is a genuine set-neck instrument with Ultra Access construction, joining a mahogany body to a 3-piece mahogany neck. An arched quilted maple top adds visual depth to the Dragon Burst finish, framed by abalone binding accented with black/white/black multi-ply, plus abalone Gothic Cross inlays along the rosewood fretboard.
Spec highlights for players who like to know what’s under the hood:
- 25.5″ scale, 24 X-Jumbo frets, 14″ fretboard radius
- Thin ‘C’ neck shape – .787″ at the 1st fret, .866″ at the 12th
- Floyd Rose 1500 Series locking nut, 1.625″ nut width
- 2-way adjustable truss rod with 5/32″ Allen nut
- Schecter USA Brimstone-Six bridge pickup paired with the Sustainiac neck unit
- Volume/Tone/Intensity controls with 3-way pickup switching
Whether you’re chasing pinch harmonics that never die out or a Floyd that stays in tune through aggressive whammy work, this C-1 is built for players who push their gear hard.
