Description
Eight strings, one purpose: giving you the range to go low without losing note definition. The Schecter C-8 Deluxe pairs a basswood body with a bolt-on maple neck, delivering the kind of punchy midrange and tight bass response that extended-range players chase. The flat top with beveled edges keeps the design clean while staying comfortable against the body.
- Basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fretboard with 4mm dot inlays
- 28″ scale length accommodates the extra tension of an 8-string setup
- 24 narrow X-Jumbo frets across a 16″ radius fretboard
- Thin ‘C’ neck profile – .787″ at the 1st fret, .866″ at the 12th
- 2.125″ graphite nut, 2-way adjustable truss rod
- Dual Schecter Diamond Plus pickups (bridge and neck)
- Volume, tone, and 3-way switch controls
- Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru-body construction
- Schecter tuners, chrome hardware, metal knurled knobs with set screws
- Strung with Ernie Ball strings (.009-.080)
Everything about this build is oriented toward low-tuned riffing and chord clarity – the string-thru bridge adds sustain and stability, while the graphite nut and dual-action truss rod keep tuning consistent under the added string tension. Finished in Satin Black with chrome hardware for a understated look that doesn’t distract from the sound. Made in Indonesia, right-handed configuration. Note: the SGR-1C case shown is sold separately.
