Description
The Schecter C-7 FR S Apocalypse is built for players who live in extended range territory and refuse to compromise on stability or tone. A swamp ash body sits under a set-neck with Ultra Access joint, giving upper-fret reach without sacrificing sustain or resonance. That 26.5″ scale length keeps low string tension civilized on the seventh string while still letting the higher strings sing.
The maple/padauk multi-ply neck is reinforced with carbon fiber rods for extra rigidity, topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard cut to a 12″-16″ compound radius. Roman numeral inlays and glow-in-the-dark side dots keep you oriented on a dark stage, while 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets hold up to aggressive playing over time. A Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and matching nut deliver locking tuning stability for whammy-heavy riffing.
Electronics are where this guitar gets interesting: a Schecter USA Apocalypse-VII bridge pickup handles the heavy lifting, while a Sustainiac driver in the neck position lets you sustain notes indefinitely, switchable between Fundamental, Mix, and Harmonic modes via dedicated controls. Volume, tone, intensity, a 3-way pickup switch, and the Sustainiac’s own switches put full control at your fingertips.
- Swamp ash body with satin black hardware and black 1-ply binding
- Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners for precise, stable tuning
- Hipshot O-Ring knobs and a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment for the Sustainiac circuit
- Finished in Red Reign
Made in South Korea, this is a serious 7-string for players chasing modern extended-range tone with built-in sustain effects.
