Description
The Schecter C-1 SLS Evil Twin is built for guitarists who demand precision at speed. Its neck-thru-body construction with Ultra Access joint keeps the swamp ash body and multi-ply maple/walnut/padauk neck acting as one continuous instrument, delivering sustain and resonance that bolt-on designs can’t match. Carbon fiber reinforcement rods keep the neck rock-stable under aggressive playing.
An Ultra Thin ‘C’ neck profile and 12″-16″ compound radius ebony fretboard make fast runs and wide bends effortless, while 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets and glow-in-the-dark side dots keep you locked in whether you’re on a lit stage or a dark rehearsal room. The Ernie Ball compensated nut helps intonation stay accurate across every string.
Tone comes courtesy of Fishman Fluence Modern active humbuckers — a ceramic-magnet unit in the bridge for tight, high-output aggression, and an alnico-magnet unit in the neck for warmer lead and clean tones. Push-pull volume and tone controls unlock additional voicing options alongside the 3-way switch, all powered by a simple 9-volt clip-in battery compartment.
On the hardware side, a Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-thru-body design adds resonance and tuning stability, complemented by Schecter locking tuners for quick, reliable string changes. The arched swamp ash top wears an ivory 1-ply binding and a Satin Black finish for a look that’s understated but menacing.
