The Blackjack SLS C-1 FR S P is Schecter’s answer for left-handed players who need a guitar that can dive-bomb, sustain forever, and stay locked in tune. Underneath the Satin Black finish sits a mahogany body with an arched top and black multi-ply binding, mated to a set-neck design with Ultra Access for effortless upper-fret reach.
The 3-piece maple neck wears an Ultra Thin ‘C’ profile with a 12″-16″ compound radius ebony fretboard, dressed with MOP offset dot inlays and 24 X-Jumbo frets. It’s a fast, comfortable neck built for speed across the full 25.5″ scale, with a 1.625″ nut sized to accommodate the Floyd Rose locking nut.
Tone-wise, this is a genuinely versatile setup. The bridge position carries a Seymour Duncan Full Shred TB-10 for aggressive lead and rhythm tones, while the neck position houses a Sustainiac (Retrofit SLS w/ Aux-2) instead of a standard pickup — giving you switchable Fundamental, Mix, and Harmonic sustain modes alongside volume, tone, and intensity controls, plus dedicated on/off and mode switches for the Sustainiac circuit. A clip-in 9-volt compartment powers the system.
Hardware is finished in black chrome throughout, anchored by a Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge and smooth Grover tuners, with metal knurled knobs and set screws for a solid grip. It ships strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky #2221 (.010-.046) strings.
