Its neck-thru-body construction with Ultra Access joint uses a swamp ash body topped with flamed maple, giving the Gloss Natural finish real depth and grain character.
The 28″ scale length keeps an 8-string’s low F# tight and in tune, while the maple/walnut multi-ply neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods resists twisting under tension. It’s carved into an Ultra Thin ‘C’ profile, so despite the extra string count it stays fast and manageable in hand. Topping it off is an ebony fretboard with a 20″ radius, 24 stainless steel X-Jumbo frets, MOP/brass offset dot inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers for stage visibility.
Schecter’s own USA-made SuperCharger Mach-8 pickups sit in both neck and bridge positions, voiced specifically for 8-string output and clarity across the range, controlled via a simple Volume/Tone/5-way MegaSwitch layout. A Hipshot hardtail bridge with string-thru-body construction and Schecter locking tuners keep tuning stability locked in, all finished in black chrome hardware.
