Built alongside Avenged Sevenfold’s Synyster Gates, the Custom-S is a precision instrument for players who need speed, stability, and a whole lot of attitude. The mahogany body wears a gloss black finish accented by signature silver pinstripes, paired with a set-neck design featuring Ultra Access construction for effortless upper-fret reach.
The 3-piece mahogany neck is reinforced with carbon fiber rods and carved into an Ultra Thin ‘C’ profile, running a 25.5″ scale over an ebony fretboard with a 16″ radius. Pearloid ‘Syn’ and Death Bat inlays mark the 12th fret, framed by black binding and glow-in-the-dark side dots for stage visibility. 24 X-Jumbo frets give you full expressive range across the neck.
Tonally, the Custom-S pairs a Schecter USA Synyster Gates Signature Humbucker in the bridge with a Sustainiac neck pickup, opening up infinite sustain territory. A 3-way Sustainiac mode switch (Fundamental-Mix-Harmonic) and dedicated on-off switch let you dial in swelling harmonics or full-on feedback control, powered by a 9-volt battery housed in a clip-in compartment.
A Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and matching nut keep tuning locked in through aggressive bends and dive bombs, while Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners hold pitch reliably. Black hardware and knurled metal knobs finish the look.
