The Monarkh SCX takes Jackson’s signature single-cutaway silhouette and loads it with everything a metal player needs to move fast and hit hard. The mahogany body with an arched top gives it weight and low-end punch, finished in satin black with a gloss polyester top coat that keeps things sleek without being flashy.
Under the hood, a pair of Jackson High Output humbucking pickups deliver the kind of versatility that goes from glassy cleans to saturated distortion without losing definition. The 3-position toggle lets you jump between bridge, both, or neck, while dedicated volume controls for each pickup plus a master tone knob keep tonal shaping simple and immediate.
Playability is where this guitar really earns its keep. The one-piece maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods for long-term stability and shaped with Jackson’s Speed Neck profile for a fast, low-friction feel. The dark rosewood fingerboard uses a 12″-16″ compound radius, so chords stay comfortable down low while the fingerboard flattens out for effortless bends and lead work up top. The fully adjustable, radius-compensated bridge matches that curve for consistent action and accurate intonation across all 22 jumbo frets.
Finishing touches include a scarf-jointed 3×3 AT-1 headstock that improves string break angle and tuning stability, black Jackson-branded tuning machines, reduced-size pearloid sharkfin inlays, and all-black hardware for a stealthy, cohesive look.
