Description
The Jackson Soloist SLX carries the X Series torch for players who need a fast, stable, no-nonsense metal machine. Its basswood body is joined by a 3-piece maple neck-through-body design with graphite reinforcement, delivering sustain and structural rigidity that bolt-on necks can’t match. The compound-radius rosewood fingerboard is a standout feature: tighter curvature near the nut makes chording comfortable, while it flattens out toward the neck joint so you can bend hard up top without fretting out.
Under the hood, a Duncan Designed HB-103N in the neck and a high-output ceramic HB-102B in the bridge give you everything from articulate cleans to aggressive, saturated lead tones, controlled with simple master volume and tone knobs plus a 3-way blade switch. Twenty-four jumbo frets stretch the full 25.5″ scale length, capped off with pearloid shark-fin inlays and black binding on both the neck and headstock for that unmistakable Jackson look.
For tremolo work, the Floyd Rose Special double-locking 2-point bridge paired with a Floyd Rose Special locking nut keeps tuning rock-solid through aggressive whammy abuse. Black hardware, Jackson sealed die-cast tuners, and the pointed 6-in-line headstock round out the aggressive aesthetic.
