Description
The Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC is built for players who need precision and aggression in equal measure. This single-cutaway solidbody pairs a mahogany body with an arched maple top under gloss polyester finish, giving it both weight and resonance for high-gain playing.
Active Seymour Duncan Blackouts AHB-1 humbuckers sit in the neck and bridge, delivering a hotter output with up to 14dB less noise than passive pickups — ideal for slamming into a high-gain amp without losing clarity in the low end. A 3-position toggle lets you flip between bridge, middle, and neck voicings, all controlled through simple master volume and tone knobs mounted in black dome-style hardware.
Playability comes from the one-piece maple set-neck, reinforced with graphite rods for stability against temperature and humidity shifts, capped with a satin finish and Jackson’s 3×3 AT-1 headstock. The ebony fingerboard uses a 12″-16″ compound radius across 22 jumbo frets, so chords stay comfortable near the nut while bends and solos flow easily up the neck. Reduced-size pearloid sharkfin inlays mark your position without cluttering the look.
Tuning stability holds up under aggressive picking thanks to the fully adjustable radius-compensated bridge with anchored tailpiece, paired with Jackson die-cast locking tuners. Black three-ply body binding and hardware contrast against a white single-ply neck binding, finished off with Dunlop dual-locking strap buttons and a black plastic nut.
