Description
The Jackson Pro Series Dinky DK2 Ash is a shredder’s tool through and through, engineered for players who chase both brutal chord tones and lightning-fast lead work. The ash body delivers a bright, articulate foundation, while the bolt-on maple neck gets a graphite reinforcement to stay rock-solid under aggressive playing and tuning changes.
Jackson carved a shredder’s cut heel into the neck joint, clearing the way for effortless access to the highest frets — no fighting the body to reach those upper register bends. A hand-rubbed satin finish on the back of the neck keeps your grip fast and comfortable through long sessions, and a heel-mounted truss rod wheel means you can dial in neck relief on the fly without ever pulling the neck off.
Up top, the ebony fingerboard uses a 12″-16″ compound radius, staying comfortable for open chords near the nut and flattening out for shred-friendly bends and solos higher up. Offset pearloid dot inlays give it a distinctive look while 24 jumbo frets provide plenty of room for aggressive vibrato and easy fretting.
