Description
The Jackson Pro Plus Dinky DKAQ is engineered for players who live at the upper frets. Its bound, arched okoume body wears a striking quilt maple top in Ghost Burst, while the five-piece maple/walnut neck adds graphite reinforcement for rock-solid stability under aggressive playing. A sculpted shredder’s cut heel opens up easy access to the highest frets, and a hand-rubbed oil finish on the neck back keeps your hand gliding comfortably during marathon sessions. Dial in relief on the fly thanks to the heel-mount truss rod wheel.
Underneath your fingers sits a 12″-16″ compound radius ebony fingerboard loaded with 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets and offset pearloid dot inlays, made for both dense chord work and fast legato runs. Luminlay side dots keep you oriented even in blackout stage lighting.
Tone comes from a direct-mount Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) and ’59 (neck) humbucker pairing, delivering the punch and clarity metal demands, controlled via single volume, single tone, and a five-way blade switch for tonal flexibility. A recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo keeps tuning locked in through dive bombs and heavy riffing.
