Description
The JS32TQ Dinky Arch Top proves Jackson didn’t cut corners just because this is an entry into the JS Series lineup. Underneath that eye-catching quilted maple arched top and Transparent Black finish sits a basswood body paired with a bolt-on maple speed neck, reinforced with graphite for extra stability under heavy bends and tuning stress.
Fretwork is where this guitar earns its shred credentials: a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard (12″ to 16″) flattens out as you move up the neck, keeping chords comfortable near the nut while giving you room to bend freely up at the 24th jumbo fret. White binding wraps both the fingerboard and headstock, framing the pearloid sharkfin inlays Jackson players immediately recognize.
Tone comes from a pair of Jackson high-output humbuckers with ceramic magnets, voiced for thick, saturated overdrive and long sustain rather than glassy cleans. A three-way blade switch gives you bridge, combined, or neck pickup selection, and the compensated string-through bridge locks strings down for rock-solid tuning stability and sustain that holds up under aggressive playing.
