Description
The JS32TQ Dinky Arch Top proves you don’t need a huge budget to get real Jackson speed and snarl. Its basswood body wears a striking quilted maple top finished in Transparent Red, giving it the look of a much pricier instrument while keeping the weight and tone characteristics guitarists expect from this shape.
Under the hood, a bolt-on maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement keeps things stable during aggressive playing, while the compound-radius rosewood fingerboard (12″ to 16″) makes low chords feel comfortable and high-fret bends effortless. Twenty-four jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays give you room to roam the entire neck, and white binding on both the fingerboard and headstock adds a clean, upscale touch.
Tone comes from a pair of Jackson high-output humbuckers with ceramic magnets, wired to a simple 3-way blade switch for bridge, combined, or neck voicing – enough tonal range to cover rhythm chug and lead work without overthinking it. The adjustable, string-through-body bridge helps with sustain and tuning stability, and black hardware throughout, including sealed die-cast tuners, keeps the look cohesive.
