Description
Don’t let the size fool you — the JS Series RR Minion JS1X crams full-scale attitude into a compact, 22.5″ scale frame. It’s a natural fit for younger players growing into the instrument, or touring musicians who want a grab-and-go guitar that still feels like “the real thing.”
The poplar body wears the unmistakable Rhoads silhouette in Satin Black, paired with a bolt-on maple neck that’s reinforced with graphite rods for stability under string tension. A rear-angled headstock and angled neck plate work together to keep string tension even across the neck, which translates to less fatigue during long practice sessions or sets. The amaranth fingerboard has a 12″ radius and 24 jumbo frets, dressed up with pearloid sharkfin inlays for that classic Jackson look.
Tone comes from a pair of Jackson high-output humbuckers wired to a 3-way blade switch, giving you bridge, combined, and neck pickup options for everything from tight rhythm chugging to searing lead lines. The string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles adds sustain and tuning stability, while jet-black hardware — including Jackson die-cast tuners and a Strat-style jack plate — keeps the whole build cohesive.
