Built alongside virtuoso Chris Broderick, this Pro Series Soloist 6 is engineered for players who demand speed, stability, and tonal versatility in equal measure. A 3-piece mahogany neck runs straight through the arch-top mahogany body, reinforced with graphite rods for rock-solid tuning stability even under aggressive playing. The satin black matte polyester finish keeps things understated while the bound rosewood fingerboard adds a touch of class.
The 12″ radius board houses 24 jumbo frets with pearloid dot markers, making bends and legato runs feel effortless across the 25.5″ scale. A Floyd Rose locking nut and 1.6875″ width up front pair with the recessed Floyd Rose Special FRT-S2000 double-locking tremolo at the bridge, giving you full dive-bomb range without losing pitch. Jackson’s reverse AT headstock keeps string pull even for cleaner tuning across all six strings, and die-cast locking tuners lock things down further.
Tone comes from a pair of direct-mount DiMarzio CB6 humbuckers, voiced specifically for Broderick’s high-gain lead work and articulate cleans alike. Beyond the master volume and tone knobs, this guitar packs serious flexibility: a push/pull on the volume splits the coils, a push/pull on the tone kills it entirely, and a 2-position mini-toggle kill switch is on hand for staccato effects and rhythmic chopping.
