The body shrinks to a more manageable 16″ double-cutaway design, while a chambered spruce center block cuts down on feedback and weight, giving you an airy, resonant tone that still feels tight and controlled at volume.
Dual High Sensitive Filter’Tron pickups deliver the punchy midrange and jangly top-end Gretsch is known for, wired through a versatile control layout: separate volume knobs for each pickup, a master volume, master tone, and a 3-position toggle for quick switching between bridge, neck, or both. The string-thru Bigsby vibrato adds smooth, musical pitch effects while helping keep tuning stable, a hallmark of the Players Edition series.
Underneath, a maple neck with a Standard “U” profile and 12″ radius ebony fingerboard offers a comfortable, fast-playing feel across 22 medium jumbo frets.
