Description
The G6136T White Falcon isn’t just a guitar, it’s Gretsch’s signature statement piece, reviving the glamour of the original 1959 design in a single-cutaway hollow body built for players who want presence on and off stage. The arched laminated maple top and back sit on 1959-style trestle bracing, giving the Falcon its resonant, airy voice, while oversized bound f-holes and multiple gold-sparkle bindings make the visual statement just as loud as the tone.
A three-piece maple neck carries an ebony fingerboard finished with gold-sparkle binding and Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, landing on a 12″ radius fretboard across 22 frets and a 25.5″ scale. The classic V-shaped Falcon headstock, bound and topped with a horizontal gold-sparkle Gretsch logo, sets the tone before you even plug in.
Dual High Sensitive Filter’Tron pickups deliver that unmistakable Gretsch snap and chime, routed through a 3-position pickup toggle and a 3-position master tone switch for quick shifts between bright twang and warmer, rolled-off voicings. Separate neck and bridge volume controls plus a master volume, all topped with jeweled “G” knobs, give you real control over blend and output.
Hardware is all gold-plated, including the ebony-based Space Control roller bridge, Grover Imperial die-cast tuners, and the Bigsby B6GB vibrato tailpiece with flat handle for smooth, musical pitch bends. The gold plexi pickguard carries the falcon motif silhouette, tying the whole instrument together.
