Left-handed players rarely get this kind of treatment, but the G6119LH puts the full Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose experience in their hands. It’s a genuine 16″ hollow body carved from laminated maple — arched top, matching back and sides — with bound oversized F-holes and multiple layers of body binding that give it that vintage Gretsch presence on stage. The deep cherry stain finish lets the maple grain show through while adding real depth to the color.
Plug in and you get dual High Sensitive Filter’Tron pickups wired through Gretsch’s classic control layout: independent volume for each pickup, a master volume, master tone, and a 3-position toggle to blend or isolate them. That’s the sound Chet Atkins built a career on — chimey highs, warm mids, plenty of clarity for chord-melody playing or country picking.
The rock maple neck carries an ebony fingerboard with the Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays Gretsch is known for, a 12″ radius, and 22 frets across a 25.5″ scale. Nut width sits at 1.6875″, giving lefties enough room to work without feeling cramped. A Gretsch by Bigsby B6C vibrato tailpiece with flat handle sits behind an ebony-based Adjusto-Matic bridge, letting you dive into subtle pitch wobbles or full-on twang effects.
Rounding out the build: Grover Rotomatic die-cast tuners, a synthetic bone nut, chrome hardware throughout, and the signature silver plexi pickguard embossed with Chet Atkins’ signature. A deluxe hardshell case is included to keep it protected between gigs.
