Description
The G5435T Pro Jet takes the classic Jet shape and hollows it out, pairing a chambered basswood body with an arched 3-ply maple top for a resonant, air-filled voice that’s lighter on the strap than it looks. Finished in a two-tone black scheme and loaded with a Bigsby B50 licensed vibrato, it’s built for players who want twang, shimmer, and a bit of vintage swagger in equal measure.
Under the hood sit dual “Black Top” Filter’Tron pickups, delivering the punchy midrange and chiming top end Gretsch is known for, without straying into muddy or brittle territory. A 3-position toggle lets you flip between bridge, neck, or both, while independent volumes for each pickup plus master volume and tone give you real control over blend and dynamics on the fly.
The maple neck carries a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid hump-block inlays, and a 12″ radius that suits both chord work and lead lines. A 24.6″ scale length and 1.6875″ nut width make for a comfortable, slightly shorter reach, while the anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and enclosed die-cast tuners keep intonation and tuning stability solid, even with the Bigsby in play.
Rounding out the details: a white pearloid Gretsch-logo pickguard, chrome hardware with matching switch tips, “G” arrow knobs, and threaded/knurled strap buttons for a secure fit. It ships strung with D’Addario XL110 Regular Light strings (.010-.046).
