Description
Gretsch built the Streamliner Collection to give players that unmistakable hollow-body attitude with the control and punch of a modern electric, and the G2622LH brings that formula to left-handed players in a striking Torino Green finish. At the heart of it is a spruce center block running the length of the double-cutaway body, which tightens up the sound, cuts down on unwanted feedback, and lets you push volume on a loud stage without things getting unruly.
Loaded with a pair of Broad’Tron BT-2S humbucking pickups, this guitar trades vintage vagueness for high output and real definition — expect punchy lows, a vocal midrange, and highs that stay clear rather than brittle. Wiring is classic Gretsch: independent volume controls for neck and bridge pickups, a master volume, master tone, and a three-way switch for quick tonal changes on the fly.
The neck is nato with a thin “U” profile, topped with a 12″ radius laurel fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets — comfortable whether you’re working through chord shapes or chasing single-note runs. Pearloid Big Block inlays and aged white binding dress up the fingerboard, while a synthetic bone nut, Adjusto-Matic bridge, and Gretsch V-Stoptail tailpiece keep tuning solid and intonation accurate.
Visually, this one holds nothing back: arched laminated maple top and back, enlarged F-holes for extra acoustic bloom, aged white binding with upgraded purfling, a three-ply black pickguard, and nickel hardware finished off with vintage-style black control knobs.
