The G2622 Streamliner takes Gretsch’s classic semi-hollow charm and reinforces it for players who need real stage volume. A lightweight spruce center block runs through the laminated maple body, tightening up the low end and keeping feedback in check even when you’re pushing the amp hard—something traditional hollow bodies struggle with.
Loaded with a pair of Broad’Tron BT-2S humbuckers designed specifically for this collection, the Streamliner delivers a punchy, high-output voice with tight bass, clear top end, and a midrange that has plenty of character for both rhythm and lead work. Controls are straightforward and familiar: individual volume knobs for neck and bridge pickups, a master volume, master tone, and Gretsch’s three-way pickup switching.
The neck is a thin “U”-profile nato neck bound in aged white, carrying a laurel fingerboard with a 12″ radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and pearloid Big Block inlays that give it that unmistakable Gretsch look. Tuning stability comes from the Adjusto-Matic bridge, synthetic bone nut, and the stylish V-Stoptail tailpiece.
Visually, the G2622 carries all the hallmarks of the brand—aged white body binding with upgraded purfling, enlarged F-holes for extra acoustic breathing room, nickel hardware, a three-ply tortoise pickguard, and an arched laminated maple top and back. Finished here in Single Barrel Stain, it’s a guitar built to be played loud and looked at closely.
