This neck pickup is the result of Greg Koch’s push to bring that same Fluence advantage to his beloved P90 sound. Having already reworked his Signature Gristle-Tone set for Telecaster guitars with great success, Koch turned his attention to the P90, wanting a pickup that stayed true to the format’s traditional roots while opening up tonal territory that only his playing seems to find. The result honors classic P90 grit and snap, then pushes past it into more expressive, versatile territory.
