Description
Built alongside Yngwie Malmsteen himself, this Stratocaster is designed for players who dig their fingers hard into the fretboard and don’t let go. The deeply scalloped rosewood fingerboard lets you bend and vibrato with almost no resistance, while the Modern “C” neck profile keeps things comfortable during marathon runs up and down the 21-fret, 25.5″ scale neck. A brass nut, bullet-style truss rod, and machine-screw neck mounting are all part of the vintage-inspired hardware package that gives this guitar its old-school feel and look, finished off in Vintage White with aged plastic parts and pickup covers.
Underneath the 3-ply white pickguard sits a set of Seymour Duncan STK-S10 YJM Fury pickups (SSS configuration) – stacked singles voiced specifically for Yngwie’s aggressive attack and need for hum-free clarity at high gain. Controls are streamlined for fast switching: master volume, a tone knob for the neck pickup, and a no-load tone control covering the middle and bridge positions, all routed through a 3-position blade switch.
Hardware stays true to vintage American specs, with a 6-saddle synchronized tremolo, Fender Vintage “F” stamped tuners, and an American Vintage tremolo arm, all finished in chrome. The alder body carries a urethane finish and Yngwie’s signature modified body contours, plus flush-mounted Dunlop Straploks so the guitar stays put during onstage dive bombs.
