Description
Left-handed players know the drill: most guitars are designed for righties first, lefties second. Not this one. Fender built the Standard Telecaster Left-Handed as a true mirror of the original, with every control, pickup, and bridge saddle positioned exactly where a left-handed player needs it.
Under the Candy Apple Red polyester finish sits an alder body paired with a maple neck in a comfortable Modern C shape, finished in tinted satin urethane. The maple fingerboard carries a 9.5″ radius and 21 medium jumbo frets, giving you room to bend and fret with confidence across the full scale length of 25.5″.
Tone comes from two Hot Standard Tele single-coil pickups at the neck and bridge, wired to master volume and tone controls with a 3-position blade switch for bridge, combined, or neck voicing. The shielded body cavities keep noise down, while the six-saddle strings-through-body bridge locks in sustain and that unmistakable Tele bite. Chrome hardware, Fender/Ping sealed tuning machines, and a 3-ply parchment pickguard round out the build, finished off with a 70s-style transition logo for a nod to vintage styling.
