Description
This Standard Stratocaster HSS takes the classic Fender blueprint and adds serious rock muscle. The bridge humbucker delivers thick, powerful tone for riffing and leads, while the two single-coils keep that signature Strat sparkle on tap through a 5-position blade switch. A Floyd Rose-licensed locking tremolo and locking nut mean you can dive-bomb and whammy to your heart’s content without fighting tuning stability.
Built on an alder-style Strat body finished in Brown Sunburst polyester, the guitar wears a Modern “C” shaped maple neck with a rosewood board, 21 medium jumbo frets, and a 9.5″ radius that suits both chord work and bends. Parchment plastics—pickguard, knobs, and switch tip—along with the ’70s-style headstock logo give it a slightly vintage-leaning look against the sunburst finish. Shielded body cavities help keep noise down, and it ships strung with Fender USA Super Bullets (.009-.042).
Bundled in is the Suhr Riot, a compact distortion pedal built to feel and respond like a cranked 100-watt tube head. Its Gain, Level, and Tone controls cover everything from tight crunch to saturated lead tone, and the three-way Voicing switch lets you dial in natural/dynamic, tight high-gain, or vintage-flavored high-gain character. Under the hood, true bypass switching via relay, an FX Link jack for remote/loop control, and a low-battery monitor (which auto-engages bypass when voltage drops too low) make it a genuinely road-ready unit, not just a boutique gimmick.
