Description
Offset guitars have a reputation for being finicky, but the Squier Affinity Series Jazzmaster HH ditches that stereotype in favor of straightforward playability. Instead of the single-coils or Jazzmaster-style pickups you’d expect, this model runs a pair of standard humbuckers wired to a 3-position blade switch, giving you bridge, combined, or neck tones that lean thick and punchy rather than thin and jangly. It’s built for distortion, riffing, and stage volume.
The alder body wears a gloss finish and carries a 3-ply black/white/black pickguard, while the one-piece maple neck has a comfortable “C” profile and satin finish that feels fast under the hand. A rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius and 22 medium frets keeps chords and bends comfortable across the full 25.5″ scale length. Simple master volume and master tone knobs keep the controls uncluttered.
Because there’s no tremolo, the six-saddle fixed bridge delivers solid tuning stability, backed up by sealed die-cast tuners up top. It arrives strung with NPS strings in .009-.042 gauge.
