Some guitars need decades on the road to earn their character. The Road Worn 50s Telecaster skips the wait, arriving with distressed body, neck, and hardware that mimic the look of a genuine vintage instrument that’s been gigged hard and loved harder. But this isn’t just cosmetic aging — underneath the worn finish is a faithfully built ’50s-spec Tele with the playability to match its lived-in looks.
The alder body wears a 2-Color Sunburst nitrocellulose-lacquer finish (an ash body in Blonde satin lacquer is also offered), paired with a 1-piece maple neck in a comfortable C shape and a 7.25-inch radius maple fingerboard. Twenty-one narrow jumbo 6105 frets keep bends smooth and chords ringing clean, while a synthetic bone nut and vintage-style tuning machines round out the old-school details.
Tone comes from a pair of Tex-Mex single-coil Tele pickups with Alnico pole pieces, wired to master volume and tone controls and a 3-position blade switch (bridge / bridge+neck / neck). A vintage-style 3-saddle strings-through-body bridge and chrome hardware complete the classic Telecaster recipe, and the whole thing ships strung with Fender ST250R nickel-plated steel strings (.010–.046).
