Description
The Player Telecaster keeps the essentials of Fender’s original workhorse design intact while updating it for the way guitarists actually play today. Finished in Polar White over an alder body, this is a Tele that looks clean on stage and holds up gig after gig.
Under the hood are two Player Series Alnico 5 single-coil pickups, delivering the snappy, cutting tone Telecasters are known for with just a bit more clarity and headroom. The 3-way blade switch gives you bridge, both, or neck, controlled by simple master volume and tone knobs. A 6-saddle string-through-body bridge with bent-steel saddles adds sustain and tightens up intonation, so notes ring true even at higher gain.
The maple neck carries a Modern C profile, comfortable in hand whether you’re playing chords or working through leads, paired with a pau ferro fingerboard set to a 9.5-inch radius. A 22nd medium jumbo fret extends your reach up the neck, and a synthetic bone nut helps keep tuning stable.
