The Stratocaster sound is baked into Fender’s DNA, and the Player Series keeps that legacy alive with an instrument built for real-world gigging and songwriting. This alder body wears a Sage Green Metallic gloss polyester finish and pairs with a Modern “C”-shaped maple neck that feels equally at home for chord work and lead lines.
Three Player Series Alnico 5 single-coil pickups give you the full Strat vocabulary – bright, articulate highs, rounded mids, and a low end with just enough grit to stay expressive. The 5-way blade switch opens up all the classic in-between tones, while master volume and dual tone controls keep shaping on the fly simple.
The pau ferro fingerboard carries a 9.5″ radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, making bends and fast runs feel natural whether you’re playing blues, rock, or anything in between. Fender updated the 2-point synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles for smoother arm travel and steadier tuning, thanks to reduced friction at the post contact points.
Rounding out the build: a synthetic bone nut, dual-wing string tree, sealed standard tuning machines, a 3-ply parchment pickguard with matching control knobs, and the four-bolt neck plate stamped with Fender’s “F” – a small detail that confirms this is the genuine article.
