Description
The Stratocaster shape needs no introduction, and the Player Series version delivers that unmistakable Fender voice—chiming highs, growling mids, and a solid low end that stays clear no matter how hard you dig in. This one wears a 3-Color Sunburst finish over an alder body, a combination that’s been a Strat staple for decades.
Three Player Series Alnico 5 single-coils give you the full spread of Strat tones, from glassy neck-pickup cleans to that quacky in-between bridge/middle snarl players chase for funk and blues. The 5-way blade switch puts all five classic pickup combinations at your fingertips, with a master volume and dual tone controls (one for neck/middle, one for bridge) keeping things simple to dial in.
The maple neck carries a Modern C profile with a satin urethane back and gloss headstock face, so it feels broken-in but still looks sharp. A pau ferro fingerboard with a 9.5″ radius and 22 medium jumbo frets makes bending and fretting equally comfortable, whether you’re playing chords low on the neck or reaching for high leads. Up top, a synthetic bone nut and dual-wing string tree keep tuning stable, backed by sealed tuning machines.
Fender also reworked the 2-point synchronized tremolo for smoother travel and better tuning stability, thanks to less friction where the bridge meets its posts. Rounding it out is a 3-ply parchment pickguard, parchment control knobs, and the four-bolt neck plate stamped with Fender’s iconic F—small details that add up to an unmistakably authentic Strat.
