Description
The Player Jaguar takes Fender’s offbeat classic and dials it in for today’s stage and studio. That 24″ scale length and quick-response neck give it a distinctly slinky feel underhand, one that seems to pull unexpected chord voicings and melodic ideas out of your fingers. Finished in a striking Tidepool hue with chrome hardware accents, it looks as ready for the spotlight as it plays.
Under the hood, the HS pickup configuration pairs a Player Series Alnico 3 Jaguar humbucker at the bridge with an Alnico 2 Jaguar single-coil at the neck, giving you both punch and shimmer via the classic 3-position blade switch. The alder body and maple neck, topped with a 9.5″ radius pau ferro fingerboard and medium jumbo frets, keep the tone woody and the playability effortless across all 22 frets.
The floating vintage-style tremolo with adjustable 6-saddle bridge delivers that signature Jaguar wobble and sustain, while a synthetic bone nut and standard cast/sealed tuners keep things stable. A 3-ply black/white/black pickguard and skirted amp knobs round out the vintage-modern look.
