Description
The Duo-Sonic has been quietly shaping alternative music since 1956, favored by players who wanted something smaller, weirder, and full of character. This gently used demo model keeps all of that spirit intact, finished in a striking Capri Orange over an alder body.
Its 24″ scale length gives strings a looser, easier bend and adds a rounder warmth to the tone, while the reduced body size makes it a natural fit for smaller-handed players or anyone who likes to move around on stage. The maple “C”-shaped neck, topped with a 9.5″ radius maple fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets, feels fast and familiar whether you’re strumming open chords or reaching for extended voicings.
Two Duo-Sonic single-coil pickups (bridge and neck) run through a 3-way toggle, master volume, and master tone, covering everything from bright, chiming arpeggios to thicker, driven chords. The six-saddle, string-through-body hardtail Strat bridge with bent steel saddles keeps sustain long and adds a bit of top-end bite that helps the guitar sit clearly in a mix.
Classic touches round it out: knurled flat-top control knobs, sealed cast tuning machines, and a three-ply Mint Green pickguard against that glossy Capri Orange finish, with a satin polyurethane neck for smooth, effortless playing.
