Description
The Classic Player Jaguar Special HH takes Fender’s offbeat surf classic and gives it a heavier, more contemporary voice. Instead of the original’s twin single-coils, this version pairs two Enforcer humbucking pickups for thicker output and more low-end punch, while retaining the Jaguar’s quirky switching character with independent on/off slides for each pickup and a normal/low-cut tone switch.
Under the hand, the maple neck wears a rounded “C” profile topped with a Pau Ferro fingerboard, medium jumbo frets, and a 9.5″ radius that splits the difference between vintage feel and modern playability—comfortable for chords, easy for bends. Fender also reworked the neck pocket angle and shifted the tremolo plate closer to the bridge, tightening the break angle for better tuning stability and less unwanted string noise behind the saddle.
Hardware includes an Adjusto-Matic bridge mated to a vintage-style floating tremolo with lock button, vintage-style tuners, and a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard over an alder body finished in Olympic White. Chrome hardware, black plastic knobs, and white switch tips round out the classic Jaguar look.
