Fender didn’t just reissue an old spec sheet here; they tracked down original-era instruments, restored vintage tooling dies, and rewound the pickups to match period voicing so the tone and feel line up with the real thing.
The body is lightweight alder finished in Sherwood Green Metallic under Fender’s Flash Coat Lacquer, paired with a slim “D”-shaped maple neck carrying a dark rosewood slab board, 7.25″ radius, and 21 vintage-style frets. That neck profile is comfortable for hours of playing without feeling bulky, and the 1.650″ nut width keeps chord work manageable while leaving room for expressive bends.
Three American Vintage ’59 Single-Coil pickups run through the classic 5-position blade switch, giving you everything from snarling bridge tone to the glassy in-between quack this era of Strat is famous for. A 6-saddle American Vintage synchronized tremolo, bone nut, and single-line Fender Deluxe vintage-style tuners round out hardware built to vintage-accurate spacing and dimensions—not just vintage-looking.
