Description
The American Professional Telecaster takes Fender’s flagship design and refines nearly every part of it without losing what made the original special. Tim Shaw’s V-Mod single-coil pickups sit at the heart of the guitar, each one voiced for its specific position with a mix of alnico magnet types, so you get that unmistakable Tele snap along with richer, more detailed tone across the neck.
Play feel gets just as much attention. The Deep C neck profile splits the difference between a Modern C and a U shape, giving your hand more to hold onto without feeling bulky. Pair that with narrow-tall frets and bending into pitch or fretting chords further up the neck stays accurate and comfortable.
Under the hood, a treble-bleed circuit keeps the top end intact as you roll down the volume knob, so your tone doesn’t go dark when you back off. The redesigned bridge uses three compensated brass barrel saddles for improved intonation, housed under a slimmer ashtray-style cover that won’t get in the way of your palm-muting hand. A bone nut rounds out the appointments.
